go on ebay (put “Banksy” in to the search bar, there’s abut a dozen pages of all sorts), you’ll find loads of giclees (printed canvases) of his work… none of it original – all cheap knock offs, but all for about £40-100 or so, dependent on size.

To buy one of his prints (limited edition runs of around 250-1000), printed by “him” that is, you will be looking at upwards of £1k (for a signed one). You can buy the prints direct from source, but they pretty much all sell out within the first 30 seconds of release, no hype or bull… fastest selling artist on the planet, right now.
For an original canvas (if you can find one for sale), expect to pay in the region of £40,000+ and then about 20% in auction house fees on top! If you have that sort of money, then buy as much and as many as you can carry, by the end of the year it’ll be £80,000+, easy!

On the book question… “Wall & Piece” contains an awful lot of his work, there is no one single definitive guide – buy the latest edition as he updates it from time to time. Should cost around £10-15, from all good book shops (as well as some bad ones too) and is well worth the money. There are some limited editions of his first three “books” (”Existencilism”, “Cut It Out” and “Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall”), about the size of the Mr Men books… but these change hands for about £50 a pop now, and have little that isnt in Wall & Piece. They are available from certain sources online as pdf’s… but you ain’t seen me, right?

What are the plastic triangle-shaped tabs attached to the back of large canvases (art) meant for?

They don’t come with small canvas, just larger ones (24×30 +). There is a sheet of the tabs. What’s is their purpose???

Can you suggest a hard core bottom for my handmade purses? Not plastic canvas, I need it thicker than that?

I have been using a hard product that has a layer of plastic with foam sandwhiched inbetween. I want it to be totally waterproof and sorta thick-maybe a 1/4″ thick so I can cut it at home. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks,pursesbyjj

You could get some particle board and some of that clear, or colored table protective tape (some fabric stores, and Walmarts have them). Or you could try to find some water proof leather found at some fabric, and hobbie stores.
