Pop Art ,, What Should I Draw? A Cartoon Charector??
For my Art project I have to to a painting in the style of Pop Art In the style of one of these three artists:
Roy Linchenstine
Andy Warhol
James Rosenquist
I want to do a cartoon charector e.g. mr men, the simpsons, hello kitty and my teacher said this would fall under Roy Linchenstine (as a modern version of his work). What can I do ??

maybe even something on a summer theme?
I think it would be really fun to do SpongeBob SquarePants or Patrick definately. We’re doing PopArt in my art class too. My friend started SpongeBob and it looked really nice because he was so detailed and so many different shades to work with.
You could also do something a little more old school… like PowerRangers or the Muppets. That’s a little off of the cartoon thing but it would be fun. Clifford! =] I like the older cartoons. Hope that helps.
